7^th Cranberry County Triathlon

Lakeville, MA 

Many members of the TriBrown competed on the Cranberry County Triathlon. We had the privilege to have Alumni and TriBrown founder, Mitchell Wolf, to race with us. Mitchell reached his goal of breaking the 3:00:00 by a comfortable margin of 1:02 minutes.

As you will see below, all Brown Athletes had an outstanding race at this incredible olympic-distance event.

2008 Cranberry County Triathlon Results

Ford Ironman Lake Placid

Lake Placid, NY

The all-day rain did not slow down Lauren Wier and Paulo Guilhardi, who completed the Ironman Lake Placid.

Paulo completed the 2.4 mile swim in 1:05:08, 112 mile bike ride in 5:35:43, and the marathon in 3:48:32. Despite stomach distress on the last 13 miles of the marathon, Paulo described Lake Placid race as one of the best experiences he has ever had.

Lauren Wier also had an impressive race. She completed the 2.4 mile swim in 1:13:14, the 112 mile bike ride in 7:07:40, and the 26.2 mile run in 4:10:38. Lauren impressivelly recovered from a bike crash on mile 56 due to the wet roads and maintained a steady strong pace throughout the entire run. Lauren’s smile at the finish line captures well her experience at Lake Palcid.

2008 Rhode Island Ironman 70.3

Providence, RI

Mike, Liz, Dave, and Cory nailed the course of the inaugural Rhode Island Ironman 70.3. The running course was challenging and included college hill at each of the two loops. The weather was perfect and many TriBrown members volunteered at the finish line in front of the State House.
